Ziyan UAS has completed a flight test of the Blowfish A2 heavy lift VTOL UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) to demonstrate its ability to transport goods safely and quickly in mountainous regions.
Ziyan has tested the Blowfish A2 unmanned helicopter in the mountainous regions of South-West China, where high altitude, signal restrictions and BVLOS challenges due to the natural topography, causes problems for the transportation of mail and goods between rural communities.
With a maximum load of 12 kg, endurance distance of more than 50 km, and a wind resistance of level 7, the Blowfish A2 UAS successfully demonstrated how it can solve transportation and delivery problems in mountainous regions.
Despite the challenging circumstances, the Blowfish A2 used a 4G mobile communication network and dual data link technology to ensure flight safety; obtaining the relevant flight parameters and image transmission needed to successfully complete the test flight in 7 minutes, almost 6 times quicker than previous methods.
Able to fly up to 5100 meters, the Blowfish A2 UAV will transform the lives of those relying on quick and efficient transportation in harsh mountainous regions.
The Blowfish A2 will aid in the transportation of goods such as mail and fresh agricultural produce.
Deputy Secretary of the local county Party committee commented; “With UAVs, the problems of delivery and transportation in mountainous villages will be solved easily.”
