service-drone, a German manufacturer of industrial-grade unmanned aerial systems (UAS), has announced the upcoming release of its Recon One multirotor UAS . Specifically developed for reliable, autonomous long-duration flights of up to 90 minutes, the Recon One is capable of carrying payloads of 500g, with greater load capacity made possible with special configurations. Application-specific sensors (thermal infrared, multi-spectral or mirror-less RGB) make it an ideal platform for hotspot detection (solar farms, wild fires, industrial buildings), aerial monitoring & surveillance and advanced vegetation analysis.
“We are thrilled to soon offer an industrial-grade multirotor based on a mission-proven platform that is capable of long-duration flights. For example, with our integrated purpose-built payload, this aircraft will provide a turn-key solution for fully automated hotspot analysis without any human intervention during flight operations,” says Bernd Lutz, CEO of bizUAS Corp, the North and South American distributor for service-drone.
