Auterion has released a new upgraded version of its Auterion Suite software that supports UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) that do not run Auterion software onboard. Auterion Suite provides advanced management of all aspects of enterprise robotics programs, including inventory, systems of events, and triggers.
After registering any new drones in the Suite, users can record flights, including pilot and assets data. For drones running Auterion Software, automatic flight tracking enables users to get the data into Suite automatically, and even in real time if the drone is online while in the air. If the pilot forgets to log in before the flight, it is possible to add it retroactively.
A new asset tracking feature extends drone program management from vehicles to complete inventories, and is also the foundation for predictive maintenance. By knowing the usage of every asset, users can be proactive with maintenance programs. This is especially useful for large companies with distributed fleets and assets. Without an inventory, the asset status is invisible and virtually impossible to track.
The new Auterion Suite update allows tracking of:
- Assets such as batteries, propellers, controllers, parachutes, and more
- Which assets are used for each flight and vehicle
- Asset states and maintenance statuses
