1. Worldwide Halo Drone Communications Platform Released
Elsight Ltd has unveiled a worldwide version of its Halo drone communications system which will allow operators to fly anywhere in the world without the need for equipment changes to accommodate different cellular systems.
2. Partnership to Deliver Tethered ISR Drone & UGV Solution
Elistair, a leader in long-endurance, tethered unmanned aircraft systems, has partnered with Rheinmetall Canada Inc. to provide military customers with an on-the-move ISR solution that combines Elistair’s fully automated KHRONOS tethered drone with the Mission Master family of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs).
3. Ultra-Long Endurance VTOL UAV Platform Launched
T-DRONES has released the VA23, an ultra-long endurance electric, high-performance, multipurpose VTOL fixed-wing UAV with a payload capacity of 2.5kg and a flight time of up to 4 hours without a payload.
The VA23 is made of carbon fiber, a lightweight material that allows the drone to remain relatively lightweight while maintaining structural strength, and is important for the flight performance and endurance of the UAV.
4. Wing Unveils New Delivery Drone with Increased Payload Capacity
Wing is introducing an additional aircraft into its delivery drone fleet that will simplify and streamline larger orders. The company currently offer the ability for customers to fulfill larger orders, beyond what fits on one aircraft.
According to Wing, 70% of all US orders are delivered by one of its aircraft, while 30% are delivered by two. To better serve that 30% and further optimize its business, the company is introducing an additional aircraft to complement its existing fleet.
5. Behind the Scenes at HD Air Studio
